The first day of school (yesterday) went very well. Except that I forgot to pack her a snack.... Fortunately the teacher always has something for those less fortunate that forget theirs. She learned capital letter I and lower case letter i and that it sounds like I in Indian. (that's what she told me)
Tomorrow is Show and Tell- she wants to take in a picture from when we went to Cedar Point this summer. She rode her first roller coaster. Uncle Dustin rode with her, so the pic is of her and Dustin on the ride. I'll try to get my scanner hooked up so I can post that later when I get a chance. She is also looking forward to Gym class tomorrow!
Today I was asked to sub for our school's first and 2nd grade split class. Things went okay. Ben was able to come up and teach for over an hour. So that was a huge help. The kids were all excited to see him because they remember him from the school play last year as being "Patch". I may be subbing again tomorrow too. We'll see? A friend of ours was in a terrible accident and ended up with a broken back, colar bone, ribs, and a nasty head injury. So his mom was hopeing to be at the hospital today and tomorrow with him. She is the normal teacher.
There really is never a dull moment around here............
