It's 5:37 and I can't believe how dark it is outside! Crazy! I do have to admit that I really like it getting dark sooner now. I feel like I can relax earlier in the evening and retire from house duties. PLUS, putting the kids to bed at 8 is way easier when it is dark out and has been for a few hours at that point.!!!

We have an exciting weekend ahead of us. Tomorrow Ben and I have the priviledge to be judges for a fine arts competion in our area. Ben is judging vocal solo's and I am judging piano pieces. We also both get to judge cookies at lunch time!

Family festivities include seeing Megamind & recording a Christmas demo cd for our childrens program at church. Ben and the kids are planning on singing "My Father's Love" for a special at church. Thankfully we were invited to sing at a church up north last weekend and were able to get all practiced up! It's always a  good challenge for me to play on different piano's.

Then Sunday night after church Ben, Michaela & I will be heading down to U of M for her appointments on Monday and Tuesday. We are looking forward to spending some quality time with Michaela!

My mom's sister will be going in for bypass surgery tomorrow morning. We have been praying for her and a quick healthy recovery!
